Program Format
The PMASE program’s unique format blends face-to-face instruction with online learning, giving you the best of both worlds as a student and busy professional. There is no need to interrupt your career to participate.
With this blended format, just over half of the content will be presented online modules that are available when you are ready. Even if you are traveling, you will be able to access your course materials and assignments from any internet connection.
In each course, online content is supplemented by face-to-face instruction. But the beauty of the program is that the instructors come to you. The following graphics shows an example of a typical schedule for a semester.

The Cohort Model
What is a cohort, you might ask? A cohort is a group of students working towards a common degree and taking classes on the same schedule, in a lockstep manner, through the completion of the degree. Work groups and relationships formed within the cohort will last through out the program and beyond.
A new Warner Robins, GA cohort of PMASE students has recently been announced. Classes will begin in August 2009. Additionally, other program cohorts will be established in cities across the United States in the months to come.
As a participant, you may choose a cohort closest to your location that meets your preferred timeframe for study. This format eliminates the need for expensive travel to distant locations while still giving you the benefits of face-to-face interaction with your professors and fellow students.
For more information about the location of cohorts that are now forming or if you would like more information about the Warner Robins cohort, including requesting an application, please contact us.
The Schedule
You will be able to complete this 10-course program in over the course of 2 years. Each student is expected to complete 5 courses each year. Classes begin either in the Fall or Spring semester. Depending on your starting semester, courses will be sequenced as follows:
Fall Start

* X designates a topic or cohort specific course
Spring Start

* X designates a topic or cohort specific course
While you take 2 courses per semester, you will only focus on one course at a time for an 8 week period. This is key for busy professionals with many demands on their schedules.
The blended format allows for just over half of the course content to be presented in an online format. Each individual professor will travel to your cohort’s base location to offer face-to-face instruction in a Friday /Saturday format for each course.
